The great wave is a light tunnel that immerses the audience inside a giant barrel wave, at the point of breaking.
Perfectly suited along a path way or near a body of water, the great wave is an lighting installation that ebbs and flows as the audience walk under the white peak of its waves. Sound and lights flow all around, surrounding your senses in the awesome power of the sea. The installation creates a contemplative space that is open to talking about climate change, the rising and acidification of the seas.

‘The wee waves’
The smaller waves that run parrell to the great wave help the audience feel immersed under the wave. Each wee wave will be built at different heights. The waves will be placed at a height that represents the level of the sea rising over a period of years.
E.g 1st wee wave - 0cm Current sea level 2021.
20th wee wave - 34cm Sea level prediction for 2050.
V3 is in concept.
It now features some rolling shoulder that eases the eye and the viewer into The Great Wave.
